Since the first launch of the Busan-Gimpo route in October 2008, Air Busan has been positioning itself as a representative regional airline in Korea by launching more than 30 domestic and international routes through active route development and service innovation.

In particular, Air Busan has successfully established a differentiated business model, which is to base in Busan, instead of the metropolitan area, leaving a new footprint on Korean civil airlines.

For years, it was assumed that all international flights must depart from Incheon International Airport and the non-metropolitan area residents would have to spend more on ground transportation. Air Busan constantly questioned why and they finally accomplish the splendid expansion of flights from Busan to Incheon International Airport in 2019.

Currently, Air Busan is preparing for a new normality after the COVID-19 pandemic with the vision of a "young and trendy airline."

Itinerary Changes and Refunds

  • Itinerary change is allowed with a commission fee (However, itinerary cannot be changed with the same special fare/promotional flight ticket. Rebooking is required after applying for a refund).

  • Ticket fare can be fully refunded without commission fee if canceled on the purchasing day before the system maintenance time.

  • If the refund commission fee is greater than the total airfare, only the airfare must be paid by the passenger.
